Competition Car Technology
Ian Bamsey previously created Racecar Engineering (book imprint from 1986, magazine from 1990), Race Tech (magazine from 1995) and Race Engine Technology (magazine from 2003). While still revolving around the technology of competition cars, his fourth project is a significant new departure.
Details of Project Four will be announced in September 2026. Meantime this interim website with its eclectic Notepad and the award of the 2025 Book of the Year in its Library is intended merely as an ‘amuse-bouche’ (‘amuse-cerveau’ perhaps…) Something for those anticipating feasting upon fruits of a great technical adventure, as will be harvested by Project Four!
